Pubstack is here to deliver thoughtful entries on the art and business of publishing from publisher Daniel Lisi.

Daniel Lisi is the founder of Not a Cult, a publisher of poetry, experimental fiction, and social nonfiction. In 2020, Lisi cofounded Chapter House, a publishing group formed upon the merging of publishers Black Ocean and Not a Cult.

This project is the accumulation of years of workshop programs and panel discussions designed to educate on the book publishing industry. Most recently, Lisi developed and deployed the curriculum for the Los Angeles Review of Books Publishing Workshop, a five-week program targeting post-grad students wanting to start their careers in books.
